Golden Eagle

The Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) is one of the best-known birds of prey in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the most widely distributed species of eagle. The eagle is using its powerful wings to pursue potential prey it has seen on the ground.
 

This sculpture Is a one-quarter size eagle that was inspired by a Floyd Scholz seminar. It is carved of Tupelo and painted with acrylics on a Western Red Cedar base. The sculpture is 18 ½” high. It is available for purchase.
